① Liqlid

Details about "Liqlid"

Liqlid is a web-based platform for citizen participation and consensus-building, founded on the core principle: "discuss thoroughly and decide firmly." The platform creates a seamless channel for communication, empowering citizens to voice their opinions and collaborate directly with the government to refine policy proposals. By using Liqlid, organizations can expand the scope of civic engagement to embrace greater diversity, while guaranteeing procedural fairness and full transparency throughout the process.

② Consulting

Based on expertise gained through initiatives with local governments and communities, research into overseas case studies, and collaborative research with academia, we provide consulting services leveraging our experience and know-how. This supports the creation of citizen participation processes within local governments and organizations, with a focus on utilizing Liqlid.

③ Assessment

We will analyze the effectiveness and impact of the citizen participation processes created using Liqlid. This will be done through analyzing ideas and opinions posted on Liqlid, analyzing participation patterns, conducting ethnographic studies, and investigating changes in the attitudes of Liqlid participants.

④ Mechanisms for Collaborative Learning

We facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices by hosting public symposiums and private workshops for municipal officials who are leading citizen engagement initiatives with Liqlid. As part of our commitment to civic education, we also deliver outreach lectures to high school and university students, showcasing real-world projects powered by our platform. Our recent academic partners (2022-2023) include Yokohama National University, Keio University, Nagasaki Prefectural University, and the Akita University of Art.
