Our CEO, Kurimoto, will speak at the Asia‑Pacific Circular Cities Forum 2026 “Future City Initiative: Next‑Generation Dialogue Session”.
From September 2 (Wed) to September 4 (Fri) 2026, the “Asia‑Pacific Circular Cities Forum 2026 (Asia‑Pacific Circular Cities Forum 2026)” will be held, and on September 4 (Fri) our President & CEO, Kurimoto, will take the stage for the side event ② Youth Session “Future City Initiative: Next‑Generation Dialogue Session”.
The “Asia‑Pacific Circular Cities Forum (Asia‑Pacific Circular Cities Forum, APCC‑Forum)” is a platform for knowledge sharing and co‑creation among multi‑stakeholders, including city leaders, practitioners, government agencies, international organisations, specialist bodies and private‑sector representatives and experts. At “APCC‑Forum 2026”, domestic and international leaders and innovators at the forefront of the circular economy will gather in Yokohama to discuss pathways toward a circular city future that balances environment and economy.
Our CEO, Kurimoto, will speak at the side event ② Youth Session.
This session looks ahead to the Asia‑Pacific Urban Forum (APUF) to be held in Yokohama in 2027 and will discuss how Yokohama can amplify the voices of the next generation. Throughout the session we will identify the requirements for reflecting youth perspectives not only in policy‑making but also in implementation and evaluation, and aim to present actionable participation models and directions for practice.
During the session, Kurimoto will talk about Liquitous’s philosophy and practice, as well as activities under “Youth Co:Lab”.
*Our company received the Grand Prize in the “Social Innovation Challenge Japan 2021”, which is part of the “Youth Co:Lab” programme supporting youth‑led social innovation and social entrepreneurship, run by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation.
