Our company CEO, Kurimoto, will speak at the “Digital Democracy Summit 2026”.
We are pleased to announce that our CEO, Kurimoto, will be speaking at the “Digital Democracy Summit 2026” to be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Keio University Mita Campus.
The “Digital Democracy Summit 2026” is a forum where practitioners and researchers from Japan and abroad gather to discuss how to update democracy for the better by leveraging technology to amplify citizens’ voices.
Our company has implemented the citizen‑participation online consensus‑building platform “Liqlid” that supports consensus formation between citizens and local governments. We have been working with over 100 local governments and other entities worldwide to update democratic consensus‑building processes using digital tools. At this summit we will present how we are breaking the two myths that often accompany digital democracy – the overconfidence that simply adding tools will generate participation, and the resignation that citizens’ voices never reach policy – using concrete examples and our own research data.
