Research Report on the Use of Digital Participation Platforms (DPPs) and Evaluation Indicators in the Nordic Countries

This report was prepared as part of a joint research project examining indicators of the value of Digital Participation Platforms (DPPs). It aims to organize the insights gained through visits to local governments and research institutions in the Nordic countries, including on-site discussions and interviews, and share them with a wide range of people involved in citizen participation and collaboration. By making these findings available for broad use, beyond individual organizations, we hope to contribute to the development of future discussion and practice.
In this study, we interviewed local governments using DPPs to promote citizen participation and research institutions studying co-creation between citizens and government, to explore the current state of evaluation indicators and their potential applications.
